The view from my window was panoramic which was great. I liked the balcony, because it provided a birdseye view of the city. The view of the sunset from the balcony was especially enchanting.

One of the receptionists gave me the cold shoulder. She never smiled at me. She'd purse her lips to show that she didn't want to talk to me. That's why I checked out promptly. I didn't need it. Instead of 4 nights, I stayed only two. That receptionist should be kicked out. Guests don't need mean receptionists to ruin their stay.

The staff were very helpful. I also liked the saltwater swimming pool. Breakfasts were very nice too.

The lovely staff deserve to have their place of work updated. Money needs spending on deep cleaning, redecoration and general modernisation. My room (224) with its concrete outer wall was sweltering even with the ancient aircon unit on full blast. I also didn't appreciate having to move rooms because water was leaking in from the flat roof above. The Prince is a mishmash of styles, strengths and weaknesses. You certainly couldn't mistake it for a corporate chain hotel!

There was very easy access to all the markets. 5' (walking) from China town - 10' Night market - 10' from river side. The hotel is a bit old but very clean and everything works. Friendly staff, helps you with information and trips organizing

I book a Super de Luxe room here no have shampoo just a little bar of soap not what I call Super Delux. Restaurant needed a real good paint job and better decoration. Breakfast was very poor !!! If you book room for one, can eat just 120 Bath from the menu prices.Fortunately I book twin room so I have the opportunity to eat breakfast for two. The pool at the back is great but not very clean.

The hotel staff, like so many Thais, were extremely friendly. Additionally having my room cleaned daily was an extra benefit. Considering what you received for your money, the relatviely small amount per night extra that I paid, was well worth what one would pay in a standard B&B.

Accomodations were quite dated, but well maintained for having so many years on them.

Well, the hotel was pretty ok or average. They were making up the rooms every day. The hotel is situated just 10 min walk from the Night Bazaar. I

It was too old. I mean there was even the smell of old furniture or smth. Tha aircon was too noisy, uncomfortably noisy. At the very moment of my arrival at hotel after quite exhausting road te girl on the reception started immedietly telling me about some trekking and other sightseeing tours which was very not in time. But you gotta be polite, you know. They were not telling in the description of the hotel that the rooms are non-smoking. Well for the people who do not smke thats ok, but not for those who do. The hotel is situated not so close to old city and its kind of a tuff to walk 30 min under the +30 c to the main places of sightseeing.

Overpriced for what you get. The hotel has deteriorated significantly over the years

    Pleasant and helpful staff.

Unreliable WiFi - nobody knows why.

It isn't right in the 'touristy' part of town but close enough to get everywhere easily, walking distance. The info for treks into the area were available but nobody was pushing to promote/ sell anything. Overall it's a nice quiet hotel.

Some aspects of cleanliness could be improved upon: handles, switches, remote for TV, faucets were quite dirty; and those are things everybody has to touch!

connecting door to next room - no privacy - could hear quiet talking from next door - we could hear everything & so could they - difficult to sleep

This is a reasonably priced hotel, which is a little tired in appearance, whilst the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The swimming pool is very small but working and you are not too far from the centre of town.

    The rooms need updating.
